PLURILINGMEDIA Vice-Chair, Lara Sorgo, invited to Slovenian national COST event

PLURILINGMEDIA’s Vice-Chair, Lara Sorgo of the Institute for Ethnic Studies in Ljubljana, was invited to present our Action at a national information event in Ljubljana, Slovenia on 20th January 2026. The COST Action focused event was organised within the framework of the ROAD3P project, in cooperation with the Slovenian Research and Innovation Agency and the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation. The event highlighted the opportunities offered by the COST programme for researchers and featured contributions from the National COST Coordinator and Contact Point.

In her role as Vice-Chair of the Action, Lara presented the achievements and activities of PLURILINGMEDIA’s first Grant Period and reflected also on the challenges encountered in leading the Action. In the second part of the event, she participated in a roundtable discussion with other Slovene researchers involved in COST Actions and shared practical advices to future applicants. This helped PLURILINGMEDIA gain visibility at the national level and allowed us to pass on our lessons learned from the first 18 months of our journey.
